The weekly Sunday School program serves as our primary educational ministry.
The Sunday School program provides classes for all ages.
The adult program typically consists of three to four different electives each quarter. The classes vary from deep dives into a book of the Bible to a Biblical look at differing world-views . We often have a ladies or mens class, and most of the teachers are members of our congregation with individuals from our Pastoral staff periodically teaching a class.
The children’s Sunday School program begins from age 2 through 6th grade. The students gather for an opening to sing a few songs, recognize birthdays, and pray before heading to their individual age group classes. The teens have a separate opening time of announcements, songs and a short challenge from God’s Word before being dismissed to their classes. The children’s Sunday School curriculum is Biblically based and age specific with activities, scripture memorization and often pages the students can take home to reinforce the lesson throughout the week. The teachers for the children and teen classes typically rotate every other quarter so that the teachers can be fed by the Sunday school program too.
