The music ministry is an important part of our worship service each week. The accompanists take turns playing the piano and organ while those that play another instrument participate in the orchestra. This is a great opportunity for young musicians to practice playing their instrument in a group. The ministry of the musicians each week helps to turn our focus to our Lord and Savior.
From September to May our adult choir sings during the Sunday morning service and presents special programs at Christmas and/or Easter. We have many teens from age 16 that participate in this ministry as well. The King’s Kids choir opens the service once a month with a song that they have learned during their time in the program. Their smiling faces and effervescent spirits bring joy to the congregation.
We purpose to have a special music number during each of the Sunday services. Soloists, ensembles, hand bell choir, and instrumental pieces are a blessing before the pastor comes to open the Word of God. We believe music is an integral part of corporate worship and personal worship. We are thankful for the Lord’s faithful servants who organize the music ministry and spend many hours in practice to be a blessing to the congregation and glorify the Lord.
