Pastor John Mark Turner was raised in a Pastor’s family in SC. Pastor Turner came to know Christ as his Savior at the age of 20 and went to study Bible and Greek at Bob Jones University. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Biblical Languages. After serving as an Administrator of a Christian School, he was called as an associate Pastor and
Pastor John Mark Turner was raised in a Pastor’s family in SC. Pastor Turner came to know Christ as his Savior at the age of 20 and went to study Bible and Greek at Bob Jones University. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Biblical Languages. After serving as an Administrator of a Christian School, he was called as an associate Pastor and then Senior Pastor of a church in South Carolina. Pastor Turner came to Hardingville in 2015 as Campus Pastor and Administrator for GCCS, a ministry of HBC. Pastor Turner then accepted the role of Senior Pastor of Hardingville. Pastor Turner has a burden for evangelism and discipleship in the local church. His wife, Jennifer, is a secondary teacher at GCCS, and they both bring a joyful servant-hearted energy to our church family, along with their children, Bobby, Vonnie, and Trisha. Pastor Turner and his family enjoy hiking and more recently visiting college campuses in preparation for their children’s college years.
