Dr. Terry R. Smith has been in pastoral ministry for over 60 years and has served in various churches. He joined the staff at HBC in October 2003 as an Assistant to the Pastor. Dr. Smith and his wife, Martha, are blessed with 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandsons. Dr. Smith assists in all aspects of the pastoral ministry, although his primary focus is on teaching and equipping the church through personal visitation and Sunday School ministries – and the spiritual oversight of our seniors and widows. Dr. Smith is very active in the leadership role with the Senior Saints ministry, a group focused on discipleship and fellowship in latter years.
